Powered By Sea Salt

(a.k.a. Something I Love and Use Daily)

Congratulations on finding this “secret” page in The Cave.

I’ve got something fun for you.

A few years back, I did some work for a company called Ava Jane’s Kitchen. And the owner, John, sent me some of their hand-harvested sea salt to try.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect, to be honest. As far as I knew, salt was a commodity. And I didn’t see how one salt could really be all that special. Salt is salt, right?

Well…

I was wrong.

This sea salt was different. And I’m now addicted to it. ;)

I don’t really know how to explain why it’s vastly better than any other salt I’ve tasted. But somehow, it is. (As one indicator, my kids will sometimes eat a pinch plain.)

Colima Sea Salt has become a sort of cheat code for upgrading the flavor of what I cook. I use it on fresh veggies, scrambled eggs, pan-seared fish, or just about anything. Often, just the salt is enough on it’s own – no need for any other seasonings.

Anyways…

Why am I going on and on about John’s sea salt?

Because it’s a product I love. And since you’re a cool person who’s here in The Cave, I wanted to share this amazing salt with you also. Maybe you’ll come to love it as much as I do. (Though if not, that’s fine too.)

Either way, you can check out the full details here if you’re interested.

With gratitude,
Joshua

P.S. If you do end up trying the salt, John may or may not send us a massive suitcase full of cash in exchange for the referral. Though really, I just wanted to share something fun with you that I use every day. (You can even search for “Ava Jane’s Kitchen Sea Salt” if you’d rather not use my link above.)
